Rod's 1st Philippines Trips
| A rewrite of our original ProvidoGaylor website. Here you will
find the story of my first trip to the Philippines to meet Jennifer... as well as
a short recount of the fiancée visa petition process, my return to the
Philippines the same year to bring her to America, and our first days together
here in sunny South Florida. |
Our Blessing Day
| A sampling of the 330+ pictures that were taken
at the "Blessing Ceremony" Jennifer and I had in General Santos City,
Philippines, when I returned in October, 2002, to bring her home. |
Jennifer's American Debut
| The early months of Jennifer's new life in
America, including... a trip to visit friends in Jacksonville, Florida... our first
Christmas together... some "unprofitable" driving lessons, hehe... an unexpected trip to Waco, Texas...
and settling in to our new life together. |

Orlando Trip
| My company scheduled me to attend the Lawson
Users Group convention in Orlando, Florida, in April 2003. Jennifer came along,
of course, so when the trip was done we had a stack of pictures to share from
our working vacation. |
Myrtle Beach Trip
| In July 2003, I was sent to another of our
resorts for some IT Department inventory assessment. Naturally, Jennifer and I
just turned this into yet another of our ProvidoGaylor Adventures! |
Philippines Homecoming Trip
| The "really really big" story of my 1st
Anniversary gift to my beloved wife Jennifer. Just as I had promised before she
came to America, we were off to the Philippines for her first visit with family
and friends since leaving everything and everyone behind a year before to come
to America and be my wife. |
Christmas in Texas
| After going around the world to the Philippines
in November, a trip to Waco, Texas for Christmas seemed like a hop, skip and a
jump! We actually got there on the same day that we had left our home in
Florida... hehe |

Baby Gaylor Countdown

Yaleana Jenell is born!!
| YAH lee AH nah... our baby girl arrives
right on schedule... September 9, 2004!!! |
Road Trip to Texas
| Rod's mom remarried in October 2004, one month
after Yaleana was born. I drove the three of us to Waco, Texas, for the wedding! |
Jennifer's Illinois Vacation!
| The very next month, after Rod's mom was married
in Texas, Jennifer's mom was scheduled to be married in Illinois. That was just too much
traveling for me, so I put Jennifer and Yaleana on a plane to be there. Jennifer
had a camera and strict orders to "burn up a pile of film"... and she did!! |

Becoming a Family in South Florida
| Having just passed Yaleana's 6TH MONTH, I
finally decided that it was time for me to stop being lazy and get busy with a
new major ProvidoGaylor Update. And this it it!
Starting with a stack of over 5800 photos, I quickly culled just over 900 from
them and then got to work sorting out the 227 that made the final cut here. This
is our story of "Becoming a Family"... as told from January 2004, when we found
out we were pregnant, through six months of age for our bouncing baby girl. We
hope you will enjoy the story!!

Celebrating Yaleana's 1st Year !!
| It seemed like only a couple of months since I
had posted "Becoming a Family in South Florida" and suddenly we were celebrating
Yaleana's first year!! As you will see from the pics I've included in this
update, it really is pretty much all about the baby girl these days.
And I suppose we would not have it any other way ... hehe |

Movin' On Up!
Another six months flew off the calendar ...
... and a lot of stuff happened here in South Florida
during that
time. After working feverishly on the new
Update for a couple of weeks as we headed for Yaleana's
official 18th month day, it was finally ready
for prime time on the evening of March 9, 2006! At least I think it
was :) So
