Entry: Not The Right Time... Yet???
I forget where I heard it the other day, but the guy on the radio was saying that Congressman Barney Frank (D - Mass) had actually called Gavin Newsom (Mayor - San Francisco, CA) and asked him not to go through with his plans to order the issuance of marriage licenses to homosexual couples. Now Barney Frank is, quite frankly, one of the most widely known homosexuals in America today. So what was the reason for this call to the mayor? Did Barney, as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, somehow see the merit of lawful adherence to Proposition 22 which had been passed overwhelmingly by the good citizens of the State of California, wherein lies the city of San Francisco?
As it turns out, Barney only called Gavin to urge him to "wait a little while longer" before breaking the laws of the State of California because, "it's just not the right time... yet."
Does anyone else see a problem here? I mean, consider this. One of the 435 members of the body that designs and crafts the very laws that govern this nation has no scruples with the mayor of one town in this great country defying the laws of his State, and the Nation, in order to further his own personal political agenda. What?
It absolutely amazes me that a man like Barney Frank can continue to be re-elected to the U.S. Congress when, in a case such as that which is taking place in San Francisco - in blatant violation of State Laws and the Federal DOMA - the Congressman is not concerned with the lawlessness and illegality of the actions being undertaken by the mayor, but is instead only concerned that the "timing" might not be right for such illegal activities to be undertaken by an elected official who, last time I checked, is still subject to the laws that govern the State in which he resides and supposedly serves his public.
I sincerely hope that the 70% of people in Massachusetts and the 61% of people across this country who are opposed to homosexual marriage will rise up in indignation against the dark character and methods of the “laws-be-damned” zealots from California, Vermont, Massachusetts, Florida, et al, who are trying to force their socially unacceptable will down our collective throats through activist judges and sympathetic politicians such as the foul Mayor of San Francisco.
Indeed, the issues that are boiling up all around us are much larger than just the homosexual marriage issue alone, and we are being bombarded daily on all sides with the rampant evil that hopes to take over this society soon. I hope those who find it offensive and repugnant will turn out in droves at the polls in November and tell the world...
"We don't want your stinking Janet Jackson strip teasing Super Bowl Halftime Sex Shows, and we just as surely will not be told by a few greedy "hands out for a hand out" homosexuals what the meaning of marriage is. You guys had your leader in the White House for 8 long years, only for the country to eventually find out that he did not even know what the meaning of “IS" is. What makes you think we will now entrust you with redefining a word, and an institution, as big and as important as MARRIAGE?”
The lines seem to be getting clearer with every passing day now. There is a great storm rising on the political horizon of this country. Those who would take us farther than ever before away from the original intent of the Founding Fathers are organized and flush with cash. They have also proven themselves willing to go to virtually any length to further their evil agenda.
On the other hand, the good folks in this country, who still believe in morals and ethics as the very foundation of our society, seem only recently to have been nudged just a little from their slumber. They are awaking somewhat slowly, but it is my hope, and the hope of hundreds and perhaps thousands more like me, that the events that have stormed into our homes in recent months will fully arouse the sensibilities of the good people of this country who know right from wrong. And it is my further hope that they will tell the anarchist minority masses amongst us that Barney Frank was in fact on the right track...
Now is not the time for you and the evil ways you wish to foist upon this great land. Indeed, not now, and not ever, so long as the American public can still remember what made this country great from its very beginning. May you who arrogantly flaunt your evil desires before us soon find yourselves in league with the Japanese Admiral of old who said…
“I fear that we have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve”
Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto Empire of Japan December 7th, 1941
