While
we were still in the labor & delivery room - very shortly after
Yaleana was born - the cafeteria called to ask if Jennifer
wanted something to eat. They brought her a sandwich and some
other goodies which she gobbled up in a hurry.
As
soon as she finished eating they moved her to her private
recovery room where she immediately called her mom in the
Philippines to tell her all the good news. Jennifer had called
her mom from home earlier when she was having those early
morning pains and her mom had been really concerned about her.
So it was great that she had a phone in her room that she could
use to call back and relieve her mom's stressful evening...
hehehe
While
Jennifer was recuperating and using the phone, I took advantage
of the time to slip back down to the nursery to see if they
would let me have another look at my little girl. They checked
my ID wrist tag and let me right in!
Here she is resting in her
little tub of a hospital bed sleeping off the wear of a very
demanding morning... hehe
