The next morning we were all back at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport for our flight down to General Santos City.

We began our day with a nutritious airport breakfast, then boarded the plane for the trip down south.

Meanwhile, I had Rick and nanay pose under the ever present "Bomb Alert" poster at the airport for him to show people when he gets back to the States.

This one is always a fun conversation starter, and one of the few pictures people always seem to remember very well the next time you tell them you are going back to the Philippines; especially when you mention you're going to southwest Mindanao!
