2002 - It's A Wrap

  Jen's New Friends

On the day we arrived in Florida, we had several friends from Calvary Chapel who met us at the airport.  Among them was a small contingent of Filipino friends! Actually just one family of Filipinos.  But the mom immediately took Jennifer in like one of her own.

This picture was taken a couple of weeks after we arrived, when we took Jennifer's newly adopted "mom" with us to church. The picture below was taken when we stayed over to visit for awhile afterwards.

Here is Jennifer and her new "best friend" Becky.  She is the little girl who lives next door to our place on Harbour Road.  They are all dressed up to go see Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie.  These two have spent a lot of time together since our arrival.  When the three of us are all out together, people seem to have trouble figuring out whether they are sisters or mother and daughter. And I can only imagine what they are wondering about me, hehehe.
