  Monochrome Memories

On the morning of my last day in the family compound, I loaded up a roll of monochrome film and just walked through the compound and out onto Rosas Street taking pictures.  Here are my monochrome memories of that morning..

Eric, mom and Paquito have a light breakfast to prepare for the day.

  I'll miss the home cooking,

  and those conversations with Romi,

and the pleasant disposition of.... dog.  I never did get that name!

It was nice having auntie's sari-sari store so close when you just needed a Coke!

I am surely going to miss Rosas Street,

and roaming the country side in Paquito's Jeepney,

and spending time with family and friends.

But the one thing I will miss most of all is the gentle touch and sweet smell of Jennifer.

I will be back, Jen-Jen.  I love you!
