GSC
International Airport. I hope to be coming back this way again VERY
soon! |

And finally, on
the morning of my departure, the clouds clear from around the top of Mount
Matutum. Another picture I never thought I would actually be taking
myself! |

One of the
heavily armed guards inside the airport struck up a conversation with me,
making me a little nervous. After asking if I was FBI or military,
and being assured that I wasn't, he started asking me questions about what
would bring me to this part of the world at a time like this. When I
gave him a condensed version of the story of my coming to General Santos
City, he told me he was going to get Jen and bring her inside for me.
And that's just what he did! |

I didn't get the
guard's name, but I am thankful for the little bit of extra time I got to
spend with Jennifer before I boarded the plane for the long journey home! |

And then I was off..... to The Beginning! |
