As it turns out, this village is right on the edge of the shallows of
Sarangani Bay. Across the way, there, you can just barely see some
of the buildings of General Santos City. |
| |
| |
| |
| |
It's funny how,
when you are in the city itself, you would never guess there are mountains
all around it like that. |
| |
| |
| |
| |
And if I had not
seen this fisherman, I would never have guessed those waters were so
shallow, either! |
| |
| |
| |
| |
This is the tree
line coming from behind that village we just passed by. |
| |
| |
| |
| |
And here is the
actual water's edge, running right up under several of the huts in that
village. There was actually water running into the bay from the left
here, which came right past the village and under several of the huts. |
