  Our Daytrip to Astorga

I guess I must have fallen asleep after the sodas and snacks in Digos, because the next thing I knew someone was taking my picture with Emmylou, Jennifer's sister, and her friend Joanne.  We are sitting at the side of her grandma's house in Barangay Astorga, Santa Cruz.  It was absolutely beautiful there!

And finally I got to take a picture of Jennifer with her brother, Roderick, who is the one we credit with having introduced us!  He actually found my profile in the internet, printed it out, and took it home for his sister to read.  THANKS, BRO!

This is Farley Jane.  She was staying with Jennifer's family when I arrived in GenSan, but her home is actually here in Astorga.  I got to visit her mom's home while we were there, too!

From the porch of their home, I took this picture of three of Jennifer's brothers; Eric, Robert and Roderick.  Frederick didn't make the trip with us, but I'll be sure to introduce you to him later.

Next door, in the front yard, was a little hut that I would LOVE to have in my own back yard!  Maybe Jennifer will be able to show me how to build one of these after she gets here.....  What do you think, Angel?!?

I took this picture of Farley Jane bringing me a Coke from the sari-sari store, but I also wanted to get a good picture of one of the houses in the neighborhood.  Thanks, Farley Jane!
