| Wednesday was mostly a day for rest and recuperation. But we were up and around early on Thursday morning to prepare for a trip to Astorga to visit Jen's grandmother and the rest of the family on her mom's side. Jennifer was ready and waiting to go when I snapped this picture of her in her bedroom before we took off. | ||

| And then everyone was loaded and ready to go. In the picture above: Row 1 - Paquito and Jen's mom, Violeta, Row 2 - Roderick, Robert and Leizel, Row 3 - Eric, and in the back......? We will just have to look for them in future pictures. And now we head for the open road! | ||

| Being the only "Kano" in the group had its advantages, as Jennifer and I were allowed to ride shotgun for the duration of the trip. | ||
