Simply put ... larger images!
If you select
the 1024x768 screen setting, you are going to see this
update in a format optimized for the larger display area.
You will also see much
larger images when viewing our "full-sized" photos.
However, since many folks still use
the older 800x600 screen setting on their PC's,
selecting the 1024x768 option will give you pictures that
are either larger than
your browser can show you, or images that have been
"resized" by your browser - a feature which sometimes
causes image distortion. Neither of
those last two options seemed very good to us, so with
this update we have decided to give you an option!
If you are using a screen resolution that will allow you
to display the larger images, we have them for you!
On the other hand, if you are one who prefers using the
smaller 800x600 screen resolution, you will not have to
scroll around the picture to see it all. Better yet
... you will not have to rely upon your browser to
"resize" anything in order for you to see an image
designed specifically for your display!
So, go ahead and select the option most appropriate for
your PC. And don't worry about selecting the wrong
one. You can actually change the screen setting from
any page in this update! |
