For all of you who have taken the tours of our fairly extensive ProvidoGaylor Updates and wondered, "Where does a guy like Rod get the tendency to take about a million photographs everywhere they go?"

Hehe... well here is your answer!

I get it from MY MOM!

Mom has been taking pictures of everything around her for as many years as I can remember. And the oil paintings on her walls... yep, those are her own work as well. Most of the paintings were done either before or during the time when she taught oil painting in several weekly classes in her home studio.

The painting stopped, for the most part, awhile back because she simply doesn't have the time for it anymore. She also recently stopped doing professional wedding photography, and I don't think she is doing any more studio photography at home anymore either. But she does still do enough digital photo restorations to keep a few of the bills paid! Whew... talk about busy!

Too bad the only talent I really seem to have gotten from her is the ability to point a camera and press a shutter release, hehe.
