As you already know, if you've been following our story, Yaleana came along right on
schedule! On September 9, 2004 the little munchkin said, "It's My Time!" |

Jennifer was so worn out after her labor that she wasn't sure she could hold the
baby just then. And from the looks of Yaleana Jenell, she was evidently not too
sure it was a good idea either. |
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
But I insisted that they have at least a few minutes to bond with one another,
and very quickly they were both totally in love! |
|

|
|
|
I almost laughed out loud when I made a trip to the nursery to check on the baby
girl a short while later. I really don't know how or where they got the name...
but somehow, in the process of our getting checked in to the hospital, our
website name had become our Room Number on the baby-label, hehe. |

I took this picture of Yaleana while she was cradled in my left arm and I held the camera
up over us with my right hand. This snapping photos of baby girl was obviously
going to become something of a habit for me! In fact, when I got ready to start working on this
particular update, I started out with over 5800 photos that were taken
from January 2004 through the first week of April 2005... and Yaleana is
featured prominently in at least two thirds of them! |
