We were watching on Sunday as the kids from the apartment across the courtyard
came out and started sweeping their front porch. It was a welcome sign

Our power had been knocked out at about 6:00 on Saturday evening, so I'm sure these guys had started to get really stir crazy by Sunday morning with no TV and
no video games or anything else that requires power. |

Since we couldn't cook at home, Jennifer and I took off to see if we could find
a place to eat. We came across a Denny's in Margate that we soon discovered was the
only
place for miles around that still had power and was open to serve
hot food! Here is Jennifer standing at the back of their parking lot with her cup
of juice after we ate our breakfast. |
