And now the excitement begins.  Jennifer soon informed me that it was time for her to learn to drive.  So we hopped in the car and took off for the T-Rex office complex where I work.  There are lot's of roads around the complex, but none of it is actually public roads.  I figure this is one of the best places around for driver training.
So the routine becomes this:  I drive to the complex...
... where Jennifer takes over the wheel...
... and it's time to cruise and abuse!
Oops!  Did I say "abuse".  Well, that was just a slip.  Honestly!  I mean... well, okay here's the story.  Jennifer had never even sat behind the wheel of a vehicle, much less driven one.  So with my car having a manual transmission, we were in for a whole lot of fun.  So far the car has had it's RPM limitations severely tested once, the tires and suspension tried a few times, and the emergency brake fully utilized by the passenger/instructor on a number of occasions.  Overall though, I figure she'll be ready for solo by her next birthday!
